We helped bring the Sourdough for the People zine and video to life with a team of incredible creatives. We were lucky to participate in this project to offer free education to those interested in creating sourdough bread from scratch.
Kelsey Yates, a sustainability and sourdough expert, wanted to create an instructional video broken down into quickly consumable steps to accompany her zine. The zine is the written compilation of steps and photos with QR codes linking to our created videos.
With videography and styling from Kim Turner-Smith, we worked closely with Kelsey to film and edit the Sourdough for the People instructional video to her specifications, which included cutting the video, adding graphics, color-grading footage, and creating a custom font from Kelsey’s own handwriting. We compiled these into a full-length video and exported each step separately to create short-form media for the zine.
We are fortunate we were able to contribute to this project and help spread the knowledge of baking sourdough bread.
